Q.

China has protested to the visit of our pm in arunchal for 3rd oct. saying it is a desputed territory and even intruded in our territory many times, giving special permits to kashmiries and allow people from arunchal without any visa while our citizens need permit to visit arunachal, is it not wrong and submeesive policies towards her and is it not that she is encouraged with left and our politicians attitude who are more interested in small things and interest of states rather than nation? your comments pl.

China is stressing upon an old adage that,"Jiski laathi uski bhains" and is trying to enforce it on India only because it has greatly increased its military strength as well as economical power. The only way India can counter it is by matching China with bullet to bullet and Rupee to Yuan. Nothing short of this is going to help. As Goswami Tulsidas said in Ramchritmanas "Bhaye binu hoi na preet Gosain" . China will show more respect for India only when and if India Counters it with full force.

The "intruding onto our territory" thing is NOT a large scale army attack but just a training maneuver called "Red Welcome" - this tactic is used by Armed Forces which inherited doctrine from Imperial Japanese Army (ours inherited from the UK). Keep in mind majority of PLA consisted of Imperial Japanese Army deserters serving mainly in Manchukuo.

The "Red Welcome" is when u have a fresher 2nd Lt. lead a sub platoon (typically 8 men) of seasoned soldiers into enemy territory, does a patrol, makes his "trophy" (ex: spraypainting "China" in Indian territory / urinating on unattended Indian border checkpost etc) and returning back. The purpose of this exercise is to get a fresher 2nd Lt., who may be having "Oh! I am an officer! I am so superior!" mindset & the seasoned soldiers who may b having "Oh what a FISH telling us what to do" mindset....in harmony....without putting anyone at substantial risk. So, "Red Welcomes" were initia ...more
