While dealing with underworld and terrorists, 'killed in encounters' is the ONLY solution. Our courts are not competent enough to convict them. There are too many loopholes in our legal system for the murderer to get away or delay the inevitable.

Hmmm...he needs to b stoned to death...but this is is india...endless legal formalities and procedures, by the time he would be old enough for the president to consider mercy petition...He wouldn't b hanged..

His sentence has to be confirmed by the High court before implementation and then he can appeal in the Supreme Court.If the Supreme Court also upholds his death sentence he can still file a mercy petition to the President of India and if he cannot afford a lwayer India govt. has to provide one to him free!
