That is because everyone is just after the nation's jugular. This happens because everyone is desperate to grab everyone else's pubic hair in India, pardon the expression used. When a young entrepreneur manages to put 2gether a business plan to come up in life, he is made to run pillar 2 post like a dog by banks. It is easy to get 500 crores here if u got 50 crore but if u have 200,000 Rupees saved up as PF, u can't even get an additional 300,000 w/o fronting collatoral which only propertied folk are fortunate 2 have.

Then when the young entrepreneur bears thru this all, sets up a factory, he is assaulted by CTO and district Panchayat officials 4 backsheesh. This is even b4 he has paid the EB deposit 4 the factory.

Even after handling that, and finishing his purchase orders on time, his goods get intercepted by checkpost cops who want...backsheesh.

And even after clearing that backsheesh, when the goods make it to port, customs authorities who have 0 clue of economics want ...more

That is just a tip of the iceberg. There are similar tax havens like Mauritius, Cayman Islands, St. Kittys, Banks in Bahrain etc. You would also be surprised to know that these banks actively encourage such dishonest people and tax evaders to remit their ill-gotten wealth from their home country to Swiss Banks & other tax havens. U.B.S. is the best example here. It has been caught by FBI while soliciting its customers to send money to Switzerland by evading tax in U.S.A. India also has U.B.S.

The information may be correct and is most shocking.Though Swiss bank has done a serious breach of privilege which can seriously effect it's credibility and reputation by disclosing such a confidential information.
The news is indeed shocking but as I said in my answer to your last question on the subject there is much much distance between the cup & the lip and absolutely remote chances of getting the money back or even if recieved back being utilized for public welfare.
