Jharkand : an employee was not paid wages for 3 months,. when he demanded his salary , his left hand was cut. what punishment must be given to the the person who cut the hand of employee ?

An eye for an eye must be the rule. the law will send him to 3-5 years in jail. but imagine the plight of the person who lost his hand and he is now crippled for life and with one hand he cannot earn but only beg.
the best option will be to cut the hand of the owner as well and he must also be made to pay ten or twenty lakhs as compensation too so that the poor man will have to deposit the amount and get interest every month so that he can lead a peaceful life
