Yes I do like detective novels, but not of Sherlock or Feluda or Hercule .. I like Perry Meson novels. They are full of thrill, provide food for thought, and above all they give us excellent knowledge of law and legal terms. Although the stories are pretty old, and now seem to be outdated, they have not lost their charm. The characters Perry Mason, Della Street and detective Paul drake do every trick to find out the real culprit and pull surprise at the last moment. I think every legal advisor should read these novels. They will understand criminal law better.

There are lot of detective characters I like in literature, but nobody entertained me like CID Ramadasan and CID Vijayan on screen.

Yes ! It has always been a subject of fascination for me
And I like mostly professional type of books like IAN FLEMMING's JAMES BOND, & Sherlock Holmes and the like.Such books give me immense pleasure besides books/tales of TRAVELS & ADVENTURES.

I used to read Perry Mason series by Erle Stanely Gardner and also novels by James Hadley Chase.Though I do not read any of them or any other now.
