It was shocling! Never for a moment thought that Dalmiya would crumble at the feet of Srinavasan so quickly that even Srinivasan must have felt surprised!
But I think there must have been some hectic talks between the two prior to the meeting today.

There is nothing wrong if someone is power hungry. Leaders have to be power hungry. Power orientation is not a negative attribute for a person who wants to become a leader. It needs a lot of guts and commitment for a person to accept the offer to head the organization when chips are down. To step down and resign when there is problem is a sign of weakness. It is in the time of crisis that true leaders step forward and offer their services. Jagmohan Dalmia needs to be appreciated for offering to head an organization which is passing through an adverse situation. The crisis is created by a powerful politician to divert the attention from spot fixing (which is the actually the crime) to a non criminal activity like betting so that the investigation started by Delhi police on spot fixing gets fizzled out. The media is also being nice bought and used to keep harping on betting instead of spot fixing.
