So long the outdated INDIAN CONSTITUTION is not freshly re-written in favour of TWO-PARTY SYSTEM and extreme measures are not taken against the TERRORISTS, at the very root of their causes & erruptions, such things will continue to happen unabated.

Just forget human rights activist for a while and just consider the opinion of our great leaders who are ruling the party. P. Chidambarm said that there is no proposal to use army against Naxals. We think the state police assisted by Central paramilitary forces are sufficient to overcome the Naxalite threat. It is really shocking how PC can utter those words even after we have lost 75 brave jawans in a brutal attack of Naxals and moreover this is not the first time. Its very shameful to watch arundhati roy justified the attacks on jawans. She is even ask ...more

Which human rights activist ever said lives of security forces aren't important? Please review some of the Human Rights reports w/a neutral eye. It becomes hard when we see our guys in uniform getting killed and u see a group of people who try and explain why that happens in realm of self criticism....but as patriots it is our duty to accept those criticisms.

PLEASE tell me Mr. Sreenivas. I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT INDIAN ARMY but about CRPF. How is their record w/ civilians? How is the Indian police record w/ civilians??!?!?!?!?! Even in non NAxalite infested areas, as a matter of fact- even in our cities- it is very common for policemen to treat ppl who come from late night movies as criminal suspects, and if the polic finds the guy as naive, he is forcefully arrested on no charge, held in jail and a HUGE ransom is demanded from his family 4 his release for a crime he didn't even do!

This is how state govt police forces, with lesser powers, treat civilians in POPULATED URBAN ZON ...more
