Yes true to a great extent. But mostly these days when you say sorry, genuinely sorry, it is not accepted because even if you might have committed a small mistake and sometimes unintentionally at that, the sorry is not accepted and you are told "Bas sorry bol diya aur baat poori ho gayi". In one instance I told one guy that if that was the case then he was free to punish me in whatever other manner he feels suitable because I can only say sorry. He was raging, using filthy language and blaming me. So I even gave him the option to hit me to which he responded "Ye Gandhigiri nahi chalegi". I was stupefied, he was abusing me, telling me that he will bring goondas to my house beat me up bad. I requested him to bring the goondas there and then as they were two people, one can go and other can keep an eye on me. In fact I was even willing to give him my house address but he continued abusing me. Finally, I ran out of patience because I had other works to do, kicked my bike and moved on a ...more
