It is great that our forum members have expressed their anguish against rap#e and prayed for departed soul , i skipped breakfast on hearing the sad news ,this event was discussed very much within my family and we had hoped that the girl could come back to health .. i am fearing with anger how many more victims before the society learns lessons form these sort of crimes ?

It is a matter of national shame for all of us that such brutality and violation of a woman's respect takes place in this country even more than sixty yrs of our independence. It happens because no stringent laws and fast tracking of such cases is absent and in many cases the victim doesn't report the savage incident for the fear of shame in the society and even our court of law. We will have to change the patriachal mind set and thought process of men to bring about a difference. And for the girl 'NIRBHAYA' I pray that may her soul Rest in Peace and she becomes the symbol of the begining of a new dawn in the thought process and better justice through justice for such victims in future.
