Not really. It may be good too. Check with your priest - based on your janma nakshatra, your spouse's janma nakshatra and other jyotish/vaastu factors etc. , it may vary.

Its definitely not bad...but considering the no. of people who believe in it, it may be a bad idea in case you are planning to sell that house later(the no. of buyers may be less)

you will end up getting the setting rays of the sun which is not good for health. houses are generally south facing to get good breeze and east facing for the morning sun whose rays have beneficial effects. that is why you will find that yoga is practiced early morning and rarely in the evening

Air flows normally from West side, therefore it is good if your bed is facing West. However Sun sets in the West, therefore, have good (thick) curtains on the windows of the West.
