The Beat with its design, build quality, smooth engine and class topping 3 year maintenance free warranty is hard to ignore. The Figo is also a great car and is helping Ford change its image in the Indian car market. The Figo unlike other the previous Ford models is much easier to maintain. However if I have to choose between the petrol Figo and the Beat I guess I would go for the Beat.
If you were choosing a diesel - it would have to be the Figo.

Chevrolet Beat. Ford Figo is also a good option but in long term it's maintenance is expensive. Spare parts are very costly. Volkswagen Polo is out of this budget. Volkswagen Polo Petrol Trendline 1.2L is the base model but still it will cost u above 5.0 lac on road.
