Despite of the overwhelming young population under the age of 35, our country is ruled by politicians over the age of 80. The Supreme Court and high court judges retire at the age of 65 but no age bar set for the rulers of the country. After a certain age is attained, the politician can remain in the ministry as an adviser of sorts, and a new younger person can be appointed for the actual post.
When there is age limit or age bar to all d Govt. positions, public/private industry jobs why not for politicians ? As they are also public servants they also should have this age limit. The following qualifications should be set for the politicians.
1) If anybody want to become politicians..then they should have minimum education qualifications. Minimum a graduation with first class.
2) There should not be any criminal cases or back ground against the candidates.
3) They can not make money / have investments in any company.
4) They have to follow national service code that limits an indiv ...more

Normally we relate age with the experience. However experience is more importance rather than the age.

There should be entry age and retirement age from Politics , if examples are given for very few politicians that they at higher age did miracles , we can ask that a person can serve the country even without chair , similarly Politics is career and hence man must enter at specific age in this profession.
