Our democracy is not matured enough. Otherwise Rahul's speech will not get this much attention. Congress should get relieved from Nehru dynasty. They are the real problem and they became liability to the congress.

There are few things that are out of control of govt also. For example, most of the country had good fall of rain During October - December. This is the time most of the vegetables and Onions are grown and hit the market. Due to untimely rain, the crop of Onion and vegetables have got spoilt and the yield is not even half this year.

By demand supply equation, naturally the prices will go up. Govt does not grow Onions by themselves!). Having said that, there are hoarders and middlemen who hold back stock to make a fast buck. Govt has started raiding the godowns of such hoarders so that the tendency to hold back stock comes down.

If the same thing happens with food grain, govt can release the stock they hold at FCI godwons. But Onions and Vegetables are not stored by Govt also as they are perishable item.

Hence, this season you will have to put up with this price increase
