As is well known, Tawheed (Islamic monotheism) is the basis of Islam, expressed by its fundamental declaration of faith: There are no gods, but The God. This means that there is and there is only one true God, who alone deserves to be worshipped.

Real worship is the realization that we are nothing and He is everything without Him we are just dust! To realize the awsomeness of His power that with out Him there would be nothing because He created everything and it is only through His unfathomable grace and mercy that we are even here.
