The Creator, has made the universe out of five elements and how each of them possesses specific character have been explained by the saint. Ether, one of the five constituents, is able to transmit sound, which can only be heard. But wind can carry sound and its presence can be felt. Fire can be seen. Water has four qualities including taste. Earth, the last, has all the five qualities, including smell. If only a person, through scriptural knowledge, realises how God has been helpful to man providing him sense and sense organs to be put to proper use and pins his faith that He is his saviour, there is no need for despair and despondency in life.
