Mr. Reddy has quoted that the Naxals and Maoist will be wiped out in 3-7 years! How well prepared is our Security Forces to tackle this menace, when they are still ill-prepared to tackle any Terrorist strike in our country inspite of setting up of Anti-Terror Cells in various metros?

When we talk about security forces...we talk about the Army and Central Reserve Police Force...because the local police...physically unfit...with bloated paunches on display... have only mastered the art of harassing the common man and taking bribes....and armed with age old muskets are hardly in a positon to tackle athletically fit guerillas....Naxals and Maoists...whatever you call them.
The recent cases along the porous Bangladesh border involving human trafficking, rape and harassment of locals by the CRPF has highlighted their total lack of discipline...and the successful attacks on their camps have proved their incompetence.
And these are the forces which are to be used to eradicate the combined menace of Naxals and Maoists ?? Wipe them out ??

A distant dream buddy and hardly worth taking notice of.

The naxals & maoists will wipe out our CRPF people in 3-7 years, because the inability central government have no idea to control the naxals & maoists. The responsible persons meet after every serious events & told the media persons, that "government is keen watching the situation & take severe action". After that thet perosn go & sleep, again the people & POOR CRPF people will be killed by the terroists. I hate the central government sleeping policy. For srilankan government, Indian government willingly went & helped to control LTTE people. India gave many arms to srilanka. But in INDIA, the congress allied government promoting the internal terroists.

I think, we can not equate the Pak sponsored terrorist outfits unleashing a terrorist attack in the most unexpected moment at the least expected target with the Naxal or Maoist attacks. Tackling the foreign aided terrorist organizations and their sleeper cells lying dormant in the country in various states, their logistics etc is a class apart. The Naxalite menace can be wiped out within months, if the military assisted by the Air force is pressed into service. The Govt of India is already seized of this option. But using Defence in controlling a local uprising in the various poorest regions of the country doesnot find favour with the Defence Ministry as well as the Military Brass. The anti -maoist combing operations are the legitimate duty of the Police personnel of the state concerned and they are assisted by the CRPF at the disposal of the Centre. Our Security Forces come to picture when a threat is perceived from aborad, and not from within the country..

Action pln is the most important thing to counter anything. What action plan is sorted out and frame worked is a matter of concern and so, I don't think it will be materialised in near future or with in 25 years too!!!

He just echoed Mr.PC's views.Centre needs to take the call.Anybody waging war against state, for what ever cause it may be, is an enemy of the state. Any body that supports such people, for what ever purpose it may be, should be treated as a traitor. In this perspective state must act decisively with out fear or favor with in the ambit of law. The female government must muster courage to act in the right direction
