Yes I do agree for the above. But one thing we should understand.Do we really know the meaning of culture and the values which we follow now a days? What ever is convienient to us we practice and also preach to others. To day we don't have any dicipline in life.If we talk about cuture first we should have the knowledge of scriptures, our vedas which deals with all the subjects in this universe in details and also to a common man to lead his day to day life in a very simple and lawful way. But who is bothered about law and truth! Parents are the first roll model for the children. We ourself don't know what is correct and which one we should follow. We are all leading a life with ignorance only.First we should learn to lead a humble ,lawfull and a caring life which will help others to follow. It is very evident many forigners are attracted by our indian culture born out of our vedic sastras alone, left their country and people, came to India only for learning our veda sastras and writtin ...more

Yes , it is a fact that western culture is prevailing more and more in India , particularly among younger generations in schools , colleges and in working modern environment . But then the gradual changes of culture in any society is a natural process and it happens in India too without exception . Yes , it may cause degradation of our ancient culture and it's values but then we have to pay the price of deteriorating culture for accepting their science , modern developments ,education , jobs , globalization . So we have to take it as a natural process and preserve our culture by careful education our children by our parent in accepting all good things from western world without sacrificing our time tested cultural values .

A culture is always influenced by a modern one in vogue and thereby develops itself; although our conservative idies take time to accept it and sometimes totally reject it. The so called foreign culture is subjected to the process of acceptation and rejection.
