It is a pity that almost all the "Saadhu ji" or "Guruji' or " Bapuji' of today turn out as quacks or 'Thugs" at the end. It is also hopeless that these dirty peole are defaming our country in the eyes of international community also. See all r there--

This is just another example like Falun Gong cult. Also Aum Shinyaroku cult in Japan.
Let's look at this Ashram. Here's their official website:
http://www.ashram.org/newweb/index.html
He has a full fledged e-commerce site. And since when did Ashrams do commerce & have a full on advertising campaign? That alone makes it sound fishy. As far as a genuine spiritual ashram goes, you are supposed to find it yourself. Self advertisement is strictly frowned amongst institutions like Ashrams, I thought.
And one of the key pre-requisites of being a Guru or a Spiritual Teacher is to reject ALL forms of materialism. And the fact that "Bapuji" runs a chain of Ashrams, across the Atlantic Ocean even proves he hasn't done so himself.....
In the "spiritual field"- maybe 1 in 10,000 ppl are genuine, and we never hear about genuine Ashrams, Gurus / Babas etc., because they don't advertise.
