The rift between Leander and Bhupathi has been there for quite long. Why this 'kolaveri! Leander being the top ranked player of India, he should have been given a partner who can adjust with him as well as is good. His choice was Bhopanna but he is being asked to play with Bhupathi which is wrong. No doubt, Bhupathi is a good doubles player but since they cannot get along well, they should send Leander Paes and Bhopanna to the Olympics.
The point to be noted here is that Paes is ready to partner Bhupathi although his preference is for Bhopanna but Bhupathi does not want to pair with Paes.

Its not a recent rift as it has been for more than a decade now & it can only be getting worse with the AITA making a mess of the situation!!
