Mukesh Ambani has spent over one billion dollars to build a private residence, the Taj Mahal of the 21st century, for himself but the Indian software tycoon, Azim Premji has donated $2 billion to improve school education in rural areas.

Wipro chairman has made us truly proud! Perhaps Azim Premji believes that good education is crucial to building a just, equitable, humane and sustainable society. We need more people like Azim Premji.

He is Chairman of Wipro. He is well known for his social responsibility and never hesitated to do his bit to address them. He always believed in giving back to the society a portion of what he has earned/ gained.
