Though the idea is good, it is almost impossible to pass a legislation to this effect as it may require the Constitutional amendment and as you know, all the politicians would get united and put Mr. Hegde behind bars for trying to bring revolution here. May be we are asking for more fireworks now!!

At the outset I personally adore Justice Santhosh Hegde former Lokayuktha of Karnataka who created shivers in the minds of both politicians and bureaucrats by his work as Lokayuktha. His suggestion is in relation to parliamentarians is a most welcome step because the electorate have every right to know what these so called peoples representatives have done for their masters(people) in parliament and what are the issues that they have raised on behalf of the people whom they represent, probably if it is implemented the parliamentarians and their abilities will be get exposed in front of the people. It is a most welcome suggestion.
