The Mahabharata and the Ramayana are called 'Itihaasa' in Sanskrit, which in English could be translated to ' Thus indeed it happened'. That apart, there is no evidence of these events having actually happened in any part of India, although there exist several actual places, which are mentioned in these itihaasas. However, tradition as well as many Indian scholars have all along maintained that Mahabharat did actually occur and is a complete reality...!

Its a compltely true story which took place in the ancient india and we can still see many places whr pnadavas visitd during thr agyata vaasa and thr we can also see many things which they hv used while living thr....thr is a place called gottumgotti. in AP...nw..... which was thn called as virat nagar....whr one can see the evidences of their spent time thr. thr are many such places like dat........so its not at al the myth but the true story............:-)

if we want to judge the veracity of this mammoth epic...
its not for cynics who try to find excuses in everything...
as we all know....we pray to a stone and anoint it ...
because we believe in God...but for the cynics...its just a stone !

Mahabharat did actually occur.Lord Krishna was there.But the description of the war appears a bit over stretched.

MahaMuni....MAHABHARAT is not only the greatest EPIC of INDIA itz greatest in world as well.....and itz based on facts which has archaeological proofs also.....
