Is Platinum a good source for investment? Yes or No why?

Right now its not but it can be so soon seeing the growing demand for the precious metals which is on the rise but it will not be the same as gold which remains the favourite of the ornament sector. So, one can certainly look from diversification point of view by investing in platinum but it may not be the best option!!

It could be because unlike Gold, it hasn't caught the fancy of investors that much. These days, platinum ornaments are a fancy with those who can afford it and it wouldn't be long, it becomes a favoured metal for investment and when it happens, the speculators will drive up its prices to unprecedented levels.
