I do know a very close relative of mine who never quit in trying a to get a male boy even when he got a female child in his sixth trial and again he tried for the seventh time only to get another female child . All of them are happy now , that is not the issue .Even after our best efforts if we do not succeed , we have to accept our destiny and it will be wiser to quit . It is said that even angels fear to tread where fools rush in . So sir , being prudent is more wiser than being stubborn and to adopt an all time policy of " never quit " . Your quote is an offshoot of another saying " Never quit trying and never try quitting " .

I would say, your answer is about 50 percent correct, but another aspect to "winning" is your circle and winning also requires you being in the right place in the right time :) If those 3 formulas work out well, u win. If u keep focusing on "not quitting" aspect but r short of a proper circle and / or being in the right place in the right time, then u r effort is best described as a "good try."
What if u have the next best idea to marketing, and after 20000 tries and simulations, u figure out it will work.....and what if u have no circle to encourage u in u r venture? Even the most ultra battle hardened macho man folk like Fidel Castro needed ppl like Che Guevara, Raul Castro, Camilio etc., to make his movement into a success. Whereas there r other SIMILAR movements worldwide- why- even in our own India....where u have movements fighting for the SAME thing Fidel fought for, their cadres display a LOT of dedication, their spirit has won even admiration and respect from our own Govt ...more
