In our tradition, we believe that if some interruptions (by devils, bad souls) come in the way of ghodi, the person sitting on the back should have the power to distroy them. Although, now-a-days, its only a symbolic, as we people call ourselve 'educated' and we don't trust our anciesters who invented this tradition.
