Is MSD retained as Skipper simply because BCCI Boss is also Owner of Chennai Super Kings of which Dhoni is captain ?

Certainly you are right and many other players too ..like suresh raina , Ravindra ashwin all are not performing consistently upto expectations .

I dont doubt his ability ever...he and Raina have always been saviours and game changers...
but he is too laid back and should take the batsmen / bowlers to task for under-performance....and ensure that the supposrt staff of Coach and psychologist do a better job.
As a captain he is good...and a Captain is only good as his team...with everyone contributing their worth...but is IPL ne poori tarah se dubo dia sabko...sabki charbi chad gai hai....!

No. he has proven with his bat that he can play and play match winning innings. he is still the best among the lot. he is cool headed. if we are to blame, everyone has failed in recent times. veerendra sehwag is after captaincy, so he has another camp. i think MSD is doing fair job.
