Militia is an alternative name for the Citizens' Military Forces comprising of all able bodied men and women who can be called to take up arms in times of emergency to defend the nation, community. Our use of this term for these Maoists give them respectability. They are just terrorists working to destabilize the country and are encouraged, in fact planted in India, by Maoists of China / Nepal. Their declaration of taking over India by 2050 or before that, is because of their success in Nepal. But They will be 100% defeated in India. India is NOT Nepal.

Gaurav, the word "Maoist" is merely a definition of revolutionaries who believe that a revolution starts first from countryside and then spreads to the cities. This is different from the Marxist-Leninists who state that the more educated urban working class should be the spearheads of he revolution and villages will follow l8r.
The Naxals are called Maoists precisely for that reason. U don't have to subscribe to Mao Tse Tsung thought 2 b a Maoist. If u believe that revolution is started in the countryside b4 going to cities, u r a Maoist.
Well, the Chinese left Maoism after completing the GLF proposal, which is Great Leap Forward programme. Maoist CHina was NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER designed to make Chinese affluent, but it was simply designed as a set of proposals which get the nation used to coordinating high levels of productivity across a wide geography.
Once that objective was reached, China commercialized and embraced Deng Xiaoping thought.
But in India, we haven ...more

Maoism is the first necessery step towards Capitalism.
China has given up Maoism after reaching the Capitalistic Door.
Our misguided tribal youth think they can repeat the same.
They are not educated enough to realise that time has changed. Such repetition is not called for.
