People who do not vote must not comment on politics or politicians. If every good person avoids politics, who else do you think will stand for elections. When you want something good in Society, we must encourage all good people including our children to stand in elections, win and do something good instead of just criticizing the politicians. When people become truthful and honest, a change can definitely be brought in others as well.

Because we have no choice. As a citizen we have to select ONE from the list and vote. Negative Voting should be introduced in our system so that either we select a candidate or reject a candidate /all candidates whereby we can exercise our primary duty and right of voting judiciously.

Voting must be made compulsory except for few valid reasons, otherwise those who do not vote will have to lose their privillages in the country, like subsidies, jobs, ration cards, admissions for education for them as well as their children, any type of assistance from official services like police, telecom, train and flight tickets etc.
Each citizen should get a unique multi purpose identity card which should be carried by them always.
We need to have bi-party system where there will be only two contestants for each post.
In the present system only around 50% of the people are voting. Their will be on average 5 contestants for each post. Those 50% polled votes get divided among them and one who manage to get 21 - 51% of polled votes (11 - 26% of total votes) is emerging as a winner. In this multi party system, our dirty politicians by just exploiting and converting a group of voters as their permanent vote banks, based on the caste, region, language, religion or any cause manag ...more

Let there be TWO candidates , in each constituency ,selected originally by the GRADUATES only. Rest all to be out in 'HIT'. Finally, in General Election, TWO votes for literates & ONE vote for illeterates. In a MULTI-PARTY SYSTEM, where DEMOCRACY is a near-absurdity , this is the most scientific approach.
