New cheque leaves containing appropriate security features compatible with cts are being introduced. Th e non -cts cheque leaves will not be in force after 31st dec 2012. Therefore they need to be replaced. However , State Bank of India accepts them for transactions within the same branch ie both the accounts are held in the same branch which issued the cheque leaves as the cheques will be dealt with in the same branch and they need not be sent for clearing. Other banks may also follow suit similarly. Venugopal.gvAnswered by Guest, 21 Dec '12 03:18 pm

Not required if you have issued post dated cheques for emi etc, the same will be honoured as long as funds are there in your account. so u need not replace even after 31 mar 2013Answered by iqbal seth, 21 Dec '12 04:00 pm
