I've learned that either you control your attitude or it controls you.
Change your attitude, change your life

In my experiences, I've found that opportunities are awarded most often to the person who had the best ATTITUDE for the job, not the most APTITUDE for the job. By changing your attitude to be more positive, people will want to talk to you, and you'll get more opportunities. More opportunities means more chances of success, more chances of success means more success, and more success means a better, changed, life.

"Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude." ? Thomas Jefferson

What is the MOST important lesson that one has learnt in life? Very difficult to answer, for at every stage we learn something or other which at that particular moment is of primary importance. Yes, I agree some of these lessons come to stay for a life time. I am thinking as to what do I write as an answer to your question. Many a time, we don't even recognise the lesson that we imbibe when it happens to us. Sometimes, it comes as an after thought, sometimes it comes as a revelation years later forced by circumstances of life to sit up and ponder over past events. For each, it is unique for the simple reason that, for each one of us we have journeyed along a different path, encountering people and circumstances in quite diagrammatically opposite ways. Most of the lessons that we learn are always there infront of us, but it takes a tragedy or adverse circumstances or when pushed against the wall, for us to open us eyes and recognise it as such. In good times, we rarely notice it or unde ...more

LIKE MR mEGA, a learned collegue,I cannot spend much time in answering the question. In fact he has reduced my typing,by having poseted a beautiful reply. The lessons we have picked up are ample, and on daily basis.
Picking of lesson is a bio graphy,it can be looked as a spritual, emotional etc.Fore most is "believe god; Trust him; he will reward you.Beyond a
stage, donot give any value for the utterings of others. He who guides and leads.
