Yes, its hte best strategy to adopt in the current time as when the outlook is not so good in these businesses to acquire them & revive them to profit in the long term. Also, it increases their presence worldwide to benefit them improve their reach!!

Yes, specifically certain sectors like oil & gas, automobiles, coal, mining, certain manufacturing sectors, pharmaceutical, etc. India itself is big market for them and at the same time we can make use of natural resources and skills available else as a give and take.
