Is it difficult to maintain trees or plants in winter with less sunlight. My basil plant withers

In tropical areas, winter affects the trees and plants. Basil plants needs a little sun shine to survive and subsist !

Easy to maintain trees. basil plant seeds have to be removed, and dry twigs broken to allow the plant grow well. Sunlight is essential
