Yes it has to be insured, at least a third party insurance. If possible, one should always go for the insurance which covers the driver and passengers as well. More than for following the law, it should be done for personal safety.

No vehicle can be on the roads unless they are insured. However, there are different types of insurance policies and one of the cheapest is third party insurance.

Yes it is mandatory.However,one can s go for third party insurance with low premium for two wheelers.
