West Bengal has high literacy rates, and people there are highly secular & don\'t fall prey to communalism except for hired party workers. That implies it\'s CPI territory :) Even for a few years people may \"try out\" something new...but eventually, as far as WB goes, the CPI will rule WB till Judgement Day.
