Q.

There are many in India enjoying all the fruits here and would still hate India. Will it happen in any other country anywhere in the world? Here any one can say anything in the name of freedom of expression----including hurting the majority religions sentiments, abusing their Gods etc. That is India. Can you imagine such a thing happening in a gulf / middle east country. If any one does that there he will be beheaded. That is the law there. No wonder fifth columnists and traitors are thriving in India.

You are absolutely right Rashtrasnehi. What you said is the root cause for all the problems in our country. We have created more traitors than patriots since our independence. Thanks to our politicians for their vote bank politics.

It is only a phase of transition. Many Indians have not realised the greatness of our country. One should be great to expose the greatness of our country. Our media cater to popular and cheap taste. It is a draw back with our mass media.

Well, then why can't I pursue an Art degree in India, specialize in Traditional Indian art...without getting beaten by an RSS mob??? Ppl don't "hate" India par se. Sure we have freedom here, but life's "chota chota" things like going to a registrar's office, getting a birth certificate, availing of a bank loan....require u to have the patience of Swami Vivekananda, humility of Bapuji, the loving heart of Jesus Christ and the patriotism of Bhagat Singh. I'm ready to sacrifice my wellbeing if it will mean my comrades in India will be better off (my family gave up ALL lands voluntarily during several decades of nationalizations by Indhira ji and PM Chacha & we did it w/a smile) but having to go thru an ordeal just to get little, little straight forward things done in India is what frustrates many ppl w/ the nation. True that in Middle Eastern countries u get beheaded at the slightest hint of badmouthing the dominant religion, but their law states that will be the case in naked & bold Engl ...more

Here at the drop of a hat people do all sorts of crap like looting, corrupting, killing, etc all for their own selfish deeds and get away with it because of money or connections.Patriotism vanished from the date of independence.

Thats true........ people in india are given too much of freedom...... they think they can express anything they want... but freedom of expression does not give the right to hurt others thoughts, religions and anything...... they can express anything they want without even causing any harm to anyone......
