Akshay means which is never ending or nobody can destroy or do any harm to him. it is made up of two words, a-means without, and kshay- means harm.

Immortal. Something which will not decay or vanish with time. It will last till the end. Like LOVE. Thats why many people prefer to get married on Akshay tritiya because they belive that if the marry on that day their relationship will never end.
