Yes it has picked up & is performing really well in the past decade for which due credit should go to the leadership of Narendra Modi who has lifted the state from being in the doldrums to a real performing state. He has welcomed all industrialists to set up their units in the state to generate growth & employment for its people for which he has been rewarded well in the recently concluded elections in the state!!

Yes,Gujarat economy is really bustling n Narendra Modi's dynamism ,clean politics n vision is responsible for the same.In India we have two leaders who can really take their states to new highs ,given central support ....Mr.Modi n Mr. Nitish Kumar.Modi has been more successful because of Gujurat's better infrastructure n human resources.Modi is my choice for the post of PM minus his hate muslim attitude (which many peopel believe he has).

Gujarat's GDP is bustling, but it's MPI is still piss poor. Modi is instrumental to getting the GDP up and afloat but he did it at the cost of completely neglecting MPI. A healthy economy should first focus on MPI, and then only GDP.....but oh well, what is MPI xD.....our economic gurus solve this dilemma by simply hitting "DELETE" on MPI.

The urban scene in GUjarat is bustling no doubt, but the rural and provincial towns are not doing as good as they should. Modi is a good CM, but he's only a good rich guy CM.

The economy is bustling, no doubt about that, though Mr. Narendra Modi alone may not be responsible, but surely he has a great role in it
