God is human's need
G is a child of man's fear
when he grew up and find himself in panics n now his mother can't provide solution for his all probelems he found a need of any superpower who would protect him from every evil of nature like earthquacks , typhoons , flood n femines ... as well man made desasters ... like a mother he run to the G for shelter ... s/ he is his emotional need .. where he can confess for his guilts ask forgiveness n bless him boons for his goodness .

During early days of human civilization, we felt very insecure and helpless in front of natural calamities and search for food. We gradually tried to adjust, understand and sometimes overcome such problems. The main stratagy to do that was to organize people and act as a group. That gave rise to group activities like hunting, cultivation etc. It increased their chance of success and survival. During this process men gradually understood its own limitation. So they conceived the existence of supernatural power, which they thought are behind all those forces. They also started believing that such supernatural forces strike when they are not happy. They tried to keep them happy. They developed a set of rituals, warship, as the means to keep these Gods or spirits happy. God created the universe as well as man and woman and animals etc etc. There is only one God, but the humans have given Him so many names and have devided the people in different relegions I am sure it was never the intention of God to do this
