It takes skill to compose a tune, but passion to win the hearts. (Passion not to be understood as a substitute for, but a complement of skill)
When such a composer combines with a similar singer giving symphony and voice to words written by an equally skilled & passionate writer we have A CLASSIC. So i guess its not whoz better, its the combination thats the best.

Even lyrics is important ! I feel the man who creates the situation for which this trios ( composer, lyricist & Vocal) put their effort is the best musician!

The Musician one who Composes well !! Composer is a person who gives life to the dead words !! Singer is a Soul of the Song... (Song's Lyrics is a Mind.. Composition is a Body & Singing is a soul) !! : ))

Dont forget the creater . then everybody adds color ,sound , voice, and music in to it. people remember only things which is seen or heard, masses follow the masses easy things, always writer is the great, then comes composer, then one who gives voice singer, who singes it many times in public become famous, composer few time apperance, but writer dont write the same song again, nor in diffrent style.that the diffrence btween inteligent and intelleectuality

Difficult to select, but in most of the cases Composer have all the knowledge and make several changes depending on the writer & singer
But its not necessary for a singer (though many are talented and few pick-up later) but composer has an advantage (& singers are left-out depending on their suitability of their voice)
