I think we need a much more harsh punishment mainly for the rapists to feel what they caused to the victim. Death is an easy punishment for the trouble & pain caused by them!!

Death sentence is always valid when a member of society is a threat to the life of others. But problem lies in execution of death sentence. Many times, death sentence is imposed on innocent and who are not guilty. Once the death sentence is executed, if later found the person to be innocent, there is no remedy. For this reason, it is advisable to avoid death sentence.
