BE POSITIVE
Your subconscious mind works 24 hours a day and it is the source of all examples of pure creativity, problem solving, and goal achievement.
Our subconscious mind is not able to distinguish between positive and negative thoughts. So, if you tell yourself something often enough your subconscious will eventually come to believe it. If you repeat something often enough whether it be positive or negative it will become your reality. This is because your subconscious mind constantly strives to attract the material equivalent of your most frequent and prominent thoughts.
It is impossible for a negative mind to attract positive things. If you're thinking about problems constantly you will find them. Is it possible to overcome negative and pessimistic thinking with positive thoughts? You bet it is! And it's something which can be easily learned.
It's all a matter of conditioning. You can train your mind to think positive thoughts the same way you can learn anything else. The wa ...more

As first step, find out what is the prime reason behind depression. Once you find out that, half the problem is resolved. Then think out deeply what is the result or consequences. Build yourself the attitude to accept whatever comes and make yourself ready to face it. You must be ready to accept that comes against you. We cannot stop or control others, but we can control our mind and heart. Lets start doing it. Once you start doing that, you will be perfectly fine.

Dear venu...we all have been there. I read a lot about depression and got tired. The first thing is don't look for anwsers. If you solve one problem ,another arises. So, any conflict will not help you. The best way is to accept your depression and live it.
This is not a pessimistic answer....just see, accept ur depression. What can depression do to you? Any problem is solved , when u accept it. Thinking positively n other un-natural ways can never solve the problem as they don't cut the root cause. Be silent, do breathing exercise(pranayama) n let go.
cheers

Hello Venu,

The only person who can help you is you yourself, i know that now nothing in the world interests you, everything seems black and bleak, you feel miserable to the extent that you are contemplating suicide but I will teach you the trick.

Do not visit a doctor, do not take medicines, do tell yourself all the time that you are a winner, you can do it, you are the best, let the world go to hell, you will stand upright. Do pranayam, watch tv, read books, dont stay at home laying on the bed and thinking terrible things, just try to smile and just go out.

Trust me, life is not that bad as it seems at this moment, it will take time, it will seem impossible to get back that old you but you have to carry on, have to have to have to, one day will come when you will forget all this and smile like your oldself, please wait for that day.

You are not under depression. You are at an edge but with a positive attitude. There is no reason to go to depression. Be true and honest to yourself and do not feel yourslef responsible for everything happening around. smile and praise others too.

First thing would be stop thinking , that you are in depression and try to be in your regular state or schedule.
The moment you say to yourself you are in depression ,you feel something very unusual and bad.
So think it was a bad phase you had gone through and now you are are coming out of it.
It is nothing unusual , everyone would have been in depression at some point in thier life for some or other reason.
You realise the worth of happiness only after you see sorrow.
Think about positivce events that make you strong and happy.
Be with friends and family.Listen to music that interest you.
Once you feel better start with yoga and meditation it will help you calm your mind and bring confidence.
