Every citizen of this country can rightfully chose his or her profession and practice or pursue it as per the law. A criminal act on the part of an individual does not debar him to the opportunity of reforms. If the intention of a bundit is to reform her past she has all right to do so and the society need to support such beginning. No one is born to become a criminal . It is the circumstances that creates this breed and we must sympathise to such sufferings or circumstances rather than casting aspersions. o p sharma

Though I am not an SP votary, but still I ask you why should all sensible Indians boycot SP if Seema joined that party? Just because she played the role of a dacoit in a film Bandit Queen ??

And by the way her name was NOT Seema Parihar. It was Seema Biswas. :-)

She is bandit turned politician and others are politicians turned bandits. There is no difference. Watermelon falls on knife or knife falls on watermelon it is only water melon that gets cut.

She is not a covert dacoit like others. We should welcome such people. They can become very good law makers and enforcers if they use their skill and strength in positive manner.
