Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad consoled the mother of late Venezuelan President Chvez by holding her hand. But that is a BAD TOUCH for the stupid CLERICS of Iran. Are these people really HUMANS?
I have a feeling that President Ahmedinejad tried to follow the way of extending condolences as they do in Venezuela. We, in Goa do it the same way.
As President of Iran, he is role model for the people in Iran and others. Hence, the clerics might have said 'he should not have followed the western way'.
I am reminded of my own experiences when I joined my post as an officer on promotion and transfer to Dehradun from Goa. After my senior officer introduced me to the staff, I extended my hand to a lady but she would not extend her hand. I got surprised. My senior whispered in my ears ' this is not Goa - wish by 'namaste' and I did.
Things change from place to place, country to country. Nobody is wrong. Things will settle down in due course of time.
Better ignore them.
