If the old style of government and judiciary, in collecting evidence and irrevocable certainty of the crime and culprit, is followed for such day light murder of a young honest government employee undertaking an important national service at great risks, the public might take recourse to eliminate the mafia behind the crime even before the F.I.R. is registered. Justice delayed is justice denied and like fast food , justice too should become fast. Then only the punishment will become a deterrent to other traitors of the country.

The murder of an IPS officer in the mining region of Madhya Pradesh has brought to the fore the unholy nexus that exists between the mining lobby, business elites and political elites. It was just in last month, Chandrika Rai, a 42-year-old journalist in Umaria district in MP, who had written extensively on the activities of the illegal coal mining mafia in the region, was shot dead. These instances reveal the increasing brazenness with which the mining mafia operates and absence of political will to control them. Illegal mafias are popping up like mushrooms and they are not restraint to MP OR UP...the condition of most of the states in the country is same. A strong political will coupled with strigent action against the offenders is the need of the hour.
