Q.

India has got good young openers like Robin Upthappa, Anirudha Srikkanth, Shikar Dawan and Abhivan Mukund. But should we still play Gambir and Sehwag, who keep failing repeatedly?

235 matches/7760 runs/average/14 hundreds is Virender Scewag, 114/4073/9 hundreds is Gautam Gambhir in ODI. 38/786/0 is Robin Uthappa,Mukund and Anirudha yet to make their debut in international ODI.Statistics contradict your claims. Uthappa's inconsistency has caused him his place in the national team and Mukund and Anirudha may play in the future. Scewag and Gambhir are the best option when Sachin is not available,
