At what minimum age, Insurance policy should be taken ?

Depend upon the availabilty-for minors it starts from their birth minimum span of the policy is 12 and 15 years,for a adult it must be after 10 years and for pension plan when a person starts his carrer

Absolutely there is no such 'minimum age limited', unless special policies, and govt. too have a special provision and scheme specially for girl child.
But it is always advisable to know who will make payment for premium.
LIFE INSURANCE:
If its self earning & paying, then better to chart-out his/her commitments and to go for such
If couples have handful of income and think about such for their child/children then its better to think of going for a EOS and co-nominee should be child or guardian (most most of the people insure in child name and make themself nominee, in this case in unexpected event they are going to be benefited (!) not the child) for children policy & purpose of expecting / meeting like Money back, Endowment or in special cases like Medical
Vehicle:
Naturally one is allowed to ride after attaining the age of 16 or 18 (2/4 W), so it is (they even think about going for third party)
