Q.
The Economic Times Awards for Corporate Excellence 2011 -- is finally out. Chanda Kochhar, managing director of ICICI Bank, the country's largest private sector lender, has been named Business Leader of the Year - I am one of the sad victims of one of the ICICI prudential schemes - How can I acknowledge her social concern of her banking excellence ?

When she took over the Bank, there was a fear about the health of the Bank as it had too much of exposure to Bad debt esp, from UK. She had her task cut out to bring down the NPA - which she has done exceedingly well. Out of thousands of schemes that are announced, few can be failures, especially in these uncertain terms. Hence her leadership can not be questioned on the basis of failure of some of the schemes on which, possibly she has no direct involvement
