Indian Meteorological Department (IDM) got it right this time! Though it failed in Uttara Khand case this IDM has proved foreign experts (like USA met dept) wrong.

True,even one expert on TV said that ,foreign dept usually exaggerate the speed of cyclone everytime but that turns out to be less in all the previous cases.So indian technology is reliable and efficient.

Do not fall into media concoctions. US categorised it higher but subsequently downgraded it. why ppl go to any extent for turbid nationalism.

Jai shri ram all appreciation to her due to which lives of thousands people were saved and biggest transfer of population was done before natural calamity.

They have got it right to a very large extend........but let us not forget that they had regular feeds from foreign agencies like NASA. This has helped the government to take the right precautionary measures at the right time!
