We can see from history that China has never liked the growth of India because we are a very powerful democracy whereas China is a communist country. USA is another strong democratic country, who are having strong alliance with Pakistan. Thus India is isolated because of not having strong back up from USA. Under this situation, it is very difficult for India to stake a seat in UN Security Council. That is why, India has been demanding for a permanent place in Security Council. Pakistan may at the most become a temporary member of Security Counil but can never dream of becoming a permanent member.
