Indian constitution must have stipulated reservations, quota systems etc for a particular period. But Indian politics disregard it and use it as a trump card for votes. It it not time to change it?

You are right.
And even reservations, quota systems etc are not being fairly allotted
One can justify such special preferences being given to those who have been down trodden to centuries
But why do the religious community, which has always been the ruling class till the British came, get such special privileges
